Social Worker

Mrs. Jacquelyn Lusk has worked as a social worker at Naomi L. Brooks Elementary School since 2014. Mrs. Lusk provides supportive counseling and/or therapeutic services to individual students and groups of students to promote optimal learning by addressing mental health and interpersonal skills. Mrs. Lusk collaborates with administrators, teachers, and families to promote and reinforce regular school attendance and serves as a liaison between the school and community agencies to promote the overall well-being of students and their families. She serves as a member of the School RULER team, the PBIS committee, Child Study Committee, Student Intervention Team, and the School Support Team. Mrs. Lusk has a bachelor's degree in Public Administration and a master's degree in School Work with a concentration in Child Welfare. Email: jacquelyn.lusk@acps.k12.va.us
