Technology in the Classroom
At Naomi L. Brooks Elementary School, technology is being utilized in the following ways:
- To teach and practice digital citizenship
- To collect student achievement data and track student growth (Lexia, Reading Eggs, Dreambox, MAP, SOLs)
- To use the G Suite applications to create, communicate and collaborate
- To view or create videos and other multimedia presentations To research a variety of topics across academic content areas
- To contribute to discussion boards or blogs
- To practice coding to deepen our critical thinking skills
- For skill review and practice (IXL, Reading Eggs, Dreambox, Reflex Math, RAZ Plus, Lexia)
- For educational game-like programs
